Abbott Hot Spring is conveniently located right on Hwy 20 just inside the Lake County line. Great road system covers the eastern portion of the property with most of the road armored with rock. You can drive right to the spring. It comes out of the hill at around 10-15 GPM with the water temperature in February at just below 90 degrees. Just below the spring is a level area about one acre in size. The vegetation on the property is a mix of oak woodland and brush. It borders BLM and CDFW land making it a great hunting property. Pigs, deer, and elk roam the area, along with upland game birds. On the west side of Hwy 20 the property is almost completely oak woodland. An ATV trail leads to the top of this, and from the highest point you can see into the Sacramento Valley all the way to Mt Lassen. There are ponds at the top near the edge of BLM that attract a lot of wildlife in the summer. With all of the roads and trails and the access to public land this is one of those ranches that seems much bigger than it actually is. You can have a lot of fun on this place if you like the outdoors. The hot spring is just an added bonus at this price!
