The lot is a full acre that gently slopes to the west. It features a small barn, a garage/workshop and a small vineyard of Pinot Noir in the Russian River Valley  Appellation.

In my opinion, this Appellation and its “Gold Ridge” soils are the Premiere wine growing combination for Pinot Noir grapes.

SONOMA COUNTY PROPERTIES ASKS; IS THE MARKET HOT IN HEALDSBURG CA?

Sonoma County Properties asks; Is the real estate market hot in Healdsburg? The answer; YOU BET IT IS!

The real estate values in great little “Wine Country” towns like Healdsburg and Sebastopol have stayed fairly consistent throughout the overall economic downturn we have experienced since 2007. These towns took a hit in real estate values but not nearly as hard as bigger towns and bedroom communities like Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park did. Over the last couple of years we have seen tremendous in demand. That coupled with low inventory has pushed prices and I can confidently say that we are very close to the values of 2005.

Our Sunnyvale Dr. Healdsburg listing this spring is a great example. As usual, we did our homework and priced this property very competitively with every other property listed in Healdsburg. It was a beautifully clean, single level property of approximately 2400 sq ft of living area, bamboo floors, remodeled granite kitchen, and three nice baths on one third of an acre. It was a mile from the Healdsburg Square [Read more…]

I love Ragle Park, for walking, tennis, the Gravenstein Apple Fair and even to just drive by it and see the crowds of families watching their kids playing soccer on Saturday mornings. Having this huge park so close to Sebastopol's downtown is an amazing gift for all of us!

Ragle Ranch Park is part of the Sonoma County Regional Park System. One of fifty Regional parks here in Sonoma County.

Sonoma County named the top wine destination in the U.S.

So now everybody knows; In October Sonoma County was named the top wine destination in the U.S. by TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards.

According to TripAdvisor, award winners were determined based on their popularity as wine destinations, taking into account travelers' reviews and opinions for local wineries, restaurants, attractions and accommodations.

TripAdvisors quote “Sonoma County may not produce as much wine as nearby Napa, but what it lacks in volume, it more than makes up for in variety, You’ll find everything from Chardonnay to Zinfandel here, and TripAdvisor travelers love the laid-back, unpretentious vibe of the wineries. After a strenuous day of wine-tasting, spoil yourself at one of the many local spas.”

Wow, what are we going to do now? [Read more…]
